Blackbird Titanium

“Why Blackbird Titanium?”  Blackbird is the nickname of one of the most iconic aircraft of all time, famously composed mostly of titanium and a leading reason that the US government first willed the domestic titanium industry to life.  Our core process also draws inspiration from the one by which nuclear fuel is made, our precursors are prepared under extreme conditions, and we are working on a companion process founded on steady-state hypergolic flows.  All of this harkens back to an era of innovation that we admire and wish to continue.  We aspire to make titanium cheap enough to be used everywhere by everyone, pushing new boundaries in applications ranging from the exotic to the mundane.
